Two brave incarcerated women have reported experiences of staff sexual abuse in the California Institution for Women, a systemic issue that currently and formerly incarcerated people have been exposing for decades.

We call on the state to create and expand release pathways for survivors of staff abuse inside prisons so they can heal outside of CDCR custody. Releases offer a necessary way out of this cycle of abuse.
