CLOSE MCJ - THIS MONDAY 3/30
Join our partners at Justice LA this Monday, March 30th at W Temple St & Grand Ave, marking the 5 year anniversary of the Board of Supervisor's receiving the Men's Central Jail (MCJ) Closure Report, and the 17th angelversary of John Horton III who was murdered inside MCJ by deputy gangs.
Demands to the Jail Closure Implementation Team and the Board of Supervisors are the following:
1. Provide a REAL timeline, with benchmarks for the closure of Men's Central Jail
2. NO FUNDING for research, planning, or building a new jail---that money belongs to community
3. Reopen the investigation of John Horton III's death
