As a coalition of 80 grassroots organizations working for criminal justice reform across California, CURB wrote to the San Quentin Advisory Council (SQAC) regarding their forthcoming recommendations on the San Quentin rebranding project and the so-called "California Model.” The CURB coalition provided multiple recommendations for the SQAC to take on.
