Welcome to CURB's Winter Wicked Fundraiser!

Together, we’ve achieved transformative change in 2024, but the road ahead will be challenging. Donate now:  bit.ly/CURBdonate or through the link in our bio.

“If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” - Malcom X

It’s considered Wicked to challenge the dominant narratives that uphold systems of oppression—but we know the truth. What’s truly wicked is allowing harm to continue unchecked.

With your support, we can keep rewriting the story, dismantling toxic systems, and building a future rooted in care, not cages.

Your support will help us tackle critical battles ahead:

1. Permanently close DVI, CCC, and CVSP, reinvesting those wasted dollars into our communities

2. Hold CDCR accountable to fully enacting promised budget cuts

3. Fight back against the growing efforts to dismantle the progress we’ve made

Every dollar Counts! Help us reach our $10,000 goal to weather the coming storm and keep building toward justice.

Here's what we accomplished together in 2024:

- Elevated the conversation on prison spending in the media and legislature

- Secured over $700 million in corrections budget cuts over 3 years

- Exposed systemic issues in CRC Norco State Prison and rallied for its closure

- Officially deactivated CVSP, marking California’s third state prison closure

- Co-hosted post-election strategy sessions to tackle key issues

- Built power with cross-sector organizers to expand our coalition

This is going to be an intense year, and we need you. Every bit of support will help us sustain and grow this movement.

Make your gift today to support a future with #CareNotCages!

Wishing you a holiday season full of rest, joy, and health.

Thank you for standing with us.
