Calling organizers across movement sectors!

Earlier this month, the Budget 2 Save Lives super-collective came together for a two day post election strategy session to reflect and build for our work to come, align our collective 2025 invest/divest budget strategies, and connect the dots between our movements for justice. Building power across our movements to keep our communities safe is more vital than ever.

It is essential that our fight to #CloseCAPrisons is not only about closing prisons, but also about investing in public health, housing, mental health care, Indigenous and immigrant rights, education, reentry services, sustainable jobs, environmental, gender and disability justice, and all of the areas we know keep our communities safe and healthy.
