Join us for a Community Justice Panel this weekend!

Dear Supporter,

My name is Mary Sutton and I have been a life-long organizer with the LA No More Jails Coalition. This weekend I will be presenting the history of incarceration in the U.S., California and Los Angeles as a part of my work in the Urban Sustainability Program at Antioch.

I am also organizing a Community Justice Panel of people directly affected by the criminal justice system that are working to dismantle the carceral state in Los Angeles this Saturday at 1pm.

Will you join us?

When: Saturday, November 21 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Antioch University Los Angeles (400 Corporate Pointe, Rm: A1000 Culver City, CA 90230)

You will hear from representatives of A New Way of Life, California Families Against Solitary Confinement, Californians United for a Responsible Budget Critical Resistance, Global Women’s Strike, Fair Chance Project, L.A. Divest, and the Youth Justice Coalition.

The event is sponsored by the Antioch University Los Angeles Urban Sustainability MA Program. For RSVP or info contact: Catherine M. McDonald at urbansustainabilityla@antioch.edu.

We hope you can come and learn from our experts in Los Angeles.

And help us build a three-mile long art project representing the 53,000 people that we want to keep out of the many new jail beds in California. With your support, we can begin to build for a better Los Angeles today.

In solidarity,

Mary Sutton
